President Vladimir Putin has made his first public comments on Thursday, Washington between Russia and Ukraine, saying that he supported the “idea” of a truce, but that the plan in its current form needs a “more detailed work”. He also said that the “root of causes” of conflicts need to be removed, but without mentioning what they could be.
