Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Elsie Hewittnamed his youngest daughter after the comedian’s late father, and hopes the similarities don’t end there.
“I want it to be funny, obviously, but there’s something about my dad that, like, he just had this face where you already like that person,” Davidson, 32, said exclusively. Davidson’s girlfriend Hewitt, 29, gave birth to daughter Scottie Rose in December 2025. (The name “Scottie” is a tribute to Pete’s father, Scott Davidsona firefighter who died in the line of duty during the September 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City.)
“Obviously Elsie is very beautiful, so I know (Scottie will be) very beautiful,” Pete said. we. “You want that face where you’re like, ‘Have I met you before? How do I know you? Why do I feel so comfortable around your face?’ That’s what I hope I get from my dad.”
Although he’s only been on dad duty for a month, Pete has already found his life changing since the arrival of baby Scottie.
“All these clichésis are true in the best way. The best thing I’ve been telling people is (that Scottie is) the greatest gift,” he said Saturday night live gushed the alum. “Nothing else matters as much or as intensely, like career, activities, going out with people (or) what people think of me, that kind of shit.”
According to Pete, his drive to leave home has already subsided.
“I still want to do cool things, but it’s like, ‘Well, how long do I have to be out?’ Or ‘Is it worth being out?’” he said. “It makes you think about shit less intensely, which is really great for me.”

“I was very, very, very, very confident the whole time and I knew she would be great to be a mother. Pete continued: “She’ll definitely wake up every three or four hours just to check the Nanit (baby monitor) as, no matter what, the Nanit app is open on Elsie’s phone. She’s always making sure the baby is ready… She really likes it, which is great, and we both do.”
Since Hewitt has been enjoying caring for baby Scottie, Pete made sure to treat his girlfriend in style after the birth.

“I have, like, a flurry of push giftsall of which we’re keeping private, but I think she’s very happy,” Pete said. “One thing I will say because it’s out publicly now, is that we have matching ‘Scottie’ necklaces, which is the most Staten Island thing I’ve ever done.”

“I bought a van three or four years ago, and I loved it,” Pete said. “While I had it, it was, ‘Minivans are so sick, like, they’re so comfortable. They are great on gas. Everyone can fit in. Nobody cares about you because you’re in a van, so you don’t get caught.”
Davidson later worked with eBay to build a “custom dad van.”

A replica of Davidson’s car was sold at an eBay auction, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit organization Answer the Call.
