Passengers seen in the plane wing after jet gets a fire


Passengers were evacuated from an American Airlines flight after the aircraft burned Denver International Airport on Thursday.

The footage shows the smoke that changes from planes and passengers standing on the plane wing.

No reports of serious injury, even if the airport later confirmed that 12 people were carried in hospital for minor injuries.

Flight was taken from nearby Colorado Springs and headed to the Dallas Fort worth of international airport in Texas, the FAA said in a BBC statement.

The plane transferred to Denver about 17:15 local time (23:15 GMT) After the crew reported “the vibrations of the machine”, the FAA said.
