Panama declares an emergency in the main region that makes bananas, after stores robbed and buildings restricted by continuous protests in a pension reform.
The government says constitutional rights suspended in the next five days of the North-Western Bocas del Toro province.
The measure prevents freedom of movement and allows police to cover without warrant.
The troubles began in the region each month later, when local banana workers were united with a national protest against proposed pension cuts.
“In dealing with the destruction of order and acts of systematic violence, the State will implement the Constitutional Law to guarantee peace,” as John Carlos Orililac, Minister of Presidency.
The scale, he added, allow “rescue of the province” from the radicals.
Protests across the country of Latin American returned in March at Pension Reform.
In Bocas del Toro, the disruption is especially led by workers in a Chiquita Brands Banana Plantation.
Confrontation increased last month after the company seized thousands of prompted employees.
Protesters set the roadside in the province, often fighting police.
Last week, people ruined one of the facilities of Chiquita Brands as well as a local airport.
