2nd season of Nobody wants that upped the ante with more breakups, a conversion, and an engagement, but where did each character end up?
The hit Netflix series picked up after Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) they decided to give their unlikely romance a go a real shot Things were going well until Noah had to leave his congregation because he was passed over for a job because Joanne was agnostic.
Noah eventually joined a more free-thinking temple, which took the pressure off Joanne to consider whether or not she should convert to Judaism. This didn’t last long, however, as a chance eviction made Joanne realize she was ready to move in with Noah, while he thought they they were moving too fast.
This resulted in a major fight in the season 2 finale. Noah and Joanne broke up, but were eventually able to work things out when Noah realized that Joanne was the one for him. Joanne, meanwhile, came to the conclusion that she saw herself becoming a convert.

Not everyone got such a happy ending in the season finale, which premiered on Thursday, October 23. Morgan (Justine Lupe) found love with Dr. Andy (Arian Moayed) who turned out not only to be her therapist but also hers.
Despite Joanne’s objections, Morgan continued to date Dr. Andy and they even got engaged. But Morgan couldn’t avoid the red flags and pulled the plug on her engagement party. He also continued to approach Sasha (Timothy Simmons), whose marriage to Esther (Jackie Tohn) affect important problems.
Esther spent the entire season wondering if she was happy. She realized she wasn’t and asked Sasha for a break, but it didn’t seem like she was done for good. Elsewhere in Season 2, Morgan and Joanne’s mother, Lynn (Stephanie Faracy), was the only convert to Judaism so far while Joanne moved on with Noah’s mother, Bina (Tovah Feldshuh).
“We wanted to end romance, not religion,” the creator said Erin Foster he said Tumdu about the end “The romance is him saying, ‘I don’t care what you are, I’m choosing you.’ We don’t really need to hear her say, ‘Oh my God, you’re not going to believe this.’ I’ve been Jewish this whole time. Because we know this is about to happen.”
He added: “He’s trying so hard to see it that he can’t see it. He’s longing for something that gives him structure, purpose, boundaries, values and traditions. Judaism can give him all these things… He’s enjoying all these things that are different from Judaism,” Foster said. “But she continues to think that God will come down from heaven and say, ‘And now you are a Jew!’
Looking forward, Noah and Joanne it will be in a different place in their relationship.
“It’s not Noah vs. Joanne,” Bell told Tudum. “It’s Joanne and Noah against the odds, which I think is a great framework for any relationship.”
Nobody wants that it is currently streaming on Netflix.
