Nikki Glaser is spilling the tea on what being a nanny really was Judd Apatow i Leslie Mannhis children after theirs Golden Globes 2026 revelation
Glaser, 41, said Howard Stern on Tuesday, Jan. 13, that she was “really tickled” when Apatow, 58, appeared at the Globes on Sunday, Jan. 11, and revealed that she was once his daughters’ nanny.
“It’s such a special moment for me that I started as his babysitter,” Glaser, who hosted the awards show, explained on Tuesday’s episode of SiriusXM. The Howard Stern Show.
He remembered Apatow working Funny People during his job, noting that he and his wife Mann, 53, “paid well” when he watched their daughters, Maudnow 28, i irisnow 23
“That was in 2007, I think it was like $35, $40 an hour,” Glaser revealed. “Which was more than I’d ever been paid to babysit.”
Glaser noted that work was a breeze because the girls were “so sweet” and “were so much fun,” as were both parents.
Glaser’s favorite memory of working for the director, however, came by chance, when Adam Sandler called home one evening.
“He said, ‘Hi.’ I said, ‘Hi.’ And he said, ‘Hi, Maude, this is Adam.’ I said, ‘Oh, no, that’s the babysitter,'” Glaser recalled.

“It was my first interaction with Adam Sandler and I’ve loved him ever since,” shared Glaser. “That was the nicest babysitting call I ever got.”
Glaser’s babysitting connection with Apatow was one lots of fun times fans were in the know when watching Sunday’s Golden Globes.
The host started the show with a hilarious monologue that ranged from asking George Clooney for tips on how to fix your Nespresso machine on the grill Leonardo DiCaprio about his love life.
“Leonardo DiCaprio Is Here For One Man Bun After Another,” Glaser saidreferencing DiCaprio’s Golden Globe-nominated film One battle after another. “How good Leo was One battle after another? It’s crazy, so good. What a career you’ve had, countless iconic performances, you’ve worked with a great director, you’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar, the most important thing is that you were able to do it before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it’s crazy.”
DiCaprio, 51, took the joke in stride amid his current relationship with the model Vittoria Cerettiwho is 24 years younger than him.
“Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke, it’s cheap,” Glaser said during the awards show, apologizing. “I tried not to, but it’s like we don’t know anything else about you. There’s nothing else, like, opening up. I looked it up (and) the most detailed interview you’ve ever done was in Teen Beat magazine in 1991. Is your favorite food still ‘pasta and more pasta?’ Look, this is real.”
DiCaprio nodded in agreement before Glaser turned her gaze away Michael B. Jordan and the NSFW thoughts he had while watching it in the year 2025 sinners.
Glaser joked that he “couldn’t believe it” that he got to see Jordan, 38, play not one, but two brothers in the film, saying, “When I saw it, I was like, ‘Nikki-be-jerkin’ because it was amazing.’
The the host laughed before apologizing again. “I’m sorry, Michael. Why did I make that joke? (You’re here with) your mom. I shouldn’t have told you that,” Glaser continued. “This should have been (in) a DM. My mistake. I love you, you’re amazing.”
Although Glaser got plenty of laughs from his jokes during the broadcast, he later revealed that there were a few he decided to cutincluding an envelope Sydney Sweeney in Christy.
“People don’t go to theaters to see things, and if you don’t believe me, there was a movie this year where Sydney Sweeney played a lesbian who just bounced around in tiny little shorts for two hours, and she made $14,” Glaser told Stern on Tuesday, which was his unused joke about the Christy Martin biopic that earned $1.3 million in its opening weekend.
Glaser explained on the radio show that he decided to cut the joke because “the audience didn’t like it.”
“I wasn’t hitting as hard as all the other stuff,” he added. “And (Sweeney) wasn’t going to be there, and it’s a joke you have to do at the top of the show, and it’s like we’re bringing somebody into the show. this isn’t even here.”
