The NHS England Chief Executive Amanda Pritchard resigns.

In a statement on Tuesday, Pritchard said it was a “hard decision for me to stand”.

He added: “It is a great privilege to lead the NHS In England by what is nothing that can be the hardest time in its history. ”

His decision follows criticism from MPs in recent weeks of his leadership of the struggling health services.

It was previously reported at the financial time that the Labor Government would seek to restrict Whitehall Control with NHS.
