“A camera on the roof suggests vigilance, planning and situational awareness. This is not the behavior of someone who improvises,” he explains. “It could mean they were watching entry points, watching police response patterns, or monitoring the house to see who’s coming in and out.”

“If it’s tied to the ransom note, it reinforces something critical: it might not be an emotional crime, it might be operational,” he adds. “And operational criminals tend to move on when they feel control slipping away.”
