The former UFC Star Molly McCann will launch his boxing career later this year after retiring the VMA.
McCann announced his retirement from the UFC after entering Alexia Thainar in March after a decade in sports.
35-year-old, whose nickname is a “meatball” after working in a sandwich store, has yet to publish the first opponent.
“It was just the right time to leave the sport of the MMA, so I chose to leave a sport knowing I was waiting for me in boxing,” McCann said.
“Pedigre Boxing is there. I was in the boxer gym, because I like to fight and I like to hit. I’ll just go. I’ll fight anyone, whenever.”
McCann finished his MMA career with 14 victories and eight defeats, but now signed with wide room to go to box.
The Promoter Eddie Hearn said, “He will now compete as a boxer and time, I would like to say, a former ABA champion, everyone knows the ability as a boxer inside the UFC and has built its profile.
“We are thrilled to start the journey, delighted that she chose together and will fight worldwide and will be massive nights. We want to keep it beautiful and active.”
