In the name of sustainability, organizers of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics are making use of a host of existing locations stretching from the Alpine ski resort of Cortina to the fashion capital of Milan in northern Lombardy. The games open this Friday with a ceremony at Milan’s San Siro stadium.
