Mick Jaggerthe bride of Melanie Hamrickshe claimed she was “physically attacked” outside a London club.
In a since-deleted Instagram story, Hamrick, 38, alleged that he did “grabbed” by two people “from behind” at private members’ club Annabel’s in Mayfair.
“This is incredibly hard to share, but tonight I was physically attacked at @annabelsmayfair,” she wrote, according to multiple outlets. “I’m very grateful to my friends for protecting me.”
Hamrick continued: “I was grabbed from behind by two people and thank God for the good people who stepped in to help me. I am shocked, saddened and heartbroken that people could treat themselves this way.”

According to the United Kingdom The Suna spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police addressed the incident, encouraging the victim to make a complaint.
“The Met is committed to tackling crime in the West End, including violence against women and girls, and recognizes the traumatic impact that incidents of this nature can have on victims,” the spokesman continued. “By increasing visible patrols in identified hotspots, we have already reduced burglaries in the area by 30 per cent since last April, while personal burglaries are down 20 per cent, meaning thousands fewer victims.”
Hamrick met Jagger, 82, in 2014 when he was performing in Tokyo with the American Ballet Theatre. The couple started dating in 2015, sparking public interest because of their age difference of 44 years.
“I don’t think so. Everyone’s going to have their opinion. If you think about other people’s opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to analyze it,” Hamrick told The Sunday Times in September 2024. “I put my glasses on. Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Someone can hurt them. I hurt their business.”
Hamrick then recalled that he wasn’t fazed by Jagger’s superstardom when they first met.
“Ballet dancers meet some of the biggest stars and act like, ‘Who are you?'” he added. “Because, to us, ballet dancers are the gods. That’s who you study and look up to. You’re very much in your own world.”
the couple expanded his family in 2016 with the arrival of son Deveraux, who is Jagger’s eighth child and Hamrick’s first. The musician is also father to daughter Karis, 55, with ex Marsha Huntdaughter Jade, 53, with ex-wife Bianca Jaggerdaughters Elizabeth, 41, and Georgia May, 34, and sons James, 40, and Gabriel, 28, with ex Jerry Hall and son Lucas, 26, with ex Luciana Gimenez.
Mick and Hamrick recently made a rare public appearance at the British Museum Ball in London in October 2025. Earlier that year, shortly after confirming his engagement to the Rolling Stones icon, Hamrick spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about your decision keep his private life out of the limelight.
“I think family is very personal, and it’s a bubble,” she shared at the New York City Ballet’s spring gala in May 2025. “It’s nice to share things, but it’s like ballet: There has to be a mystery or people will tire of you.”
Hamrick also offered insight into the couple’s wedding plans, saying, “Maybe one day we’ll get married, maybe not. We’re so happy in our lives right now that I’d be too scared to change anything.”
