The 80 -year -old Oscar winner said he has no “real intent” of starring another project, unless, of course, a script that really likes it.
“I have not worked intentionally since 2022 because I realized that I had to stop,” Douglas said at a press conference Sunday, July 6 during the Karlovy International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, according to Variety.
“He had been working hard for almost 60 years and did not want to be one of those people who fell dead on the set. I have no real intentions to return. I say that I am not retired because if something special came out, I would go back, but otherwise, not,” he added.
