The Tech demon rejects the ‘false report’ after the Iranian state media urges the citizens to delete the message.
The US Tech Giant Met has expressed concern that the state media claimed that the Messaging Services was being used by Israel for snuping by claiming that Iran could stop WhatsApp.
In a statement issued by Meta, the original company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, Meta said, “We are worried that our services will be blocked when people need them most.”
“All the messages you sent to the family and friends you sent to WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted, that is, the sender and the recipient have access to those messages, not even WhatsApp.”
Meta added that it does not track the accurate location of the users or not to record who the messenger is.
California -based Tech Firm said, “We do not give a lot of information to any government.
“For more than a decade, Meta has provided a transparent transparency report that includes limited conditions when WhatsApp information is requested.”
After the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) appealed to the citizens to deactivate or delete their WhatsApp accounts, Meta’s statement was “used to injure the information of the Xiaonist rule citizens”.
“This is extremely important because it is using information on your phone, your location and the material you shared, which are probably private but still accessible,” Iraqi Media Outlet Rudo said by the IRNA Host.
“Most of us friends and relatives live near, and some of them may be a nuclear scientist or loved one, don’t forget.”
The end-to-end encryption makes it technically impossible for the third party with companies, accessing the content of the messages when they are going to the sender.
However, Meta and other tech platforms compile the so -called Metadata, such as contacts and device information, which are requested to share with authorities.
Iran added WhatsApp and Instagram on its list of restricted apps on September 7.
As part of the reforms to increase internet independence by President Masood Peszekian, the Iranian authorities voted for banning two months after two months.
