Members of the Kennedy family are paying their respects after a family member Tatiana Schlossberg dead at the age of 35
Tatiana, the youngest daughter of Caroline Kennedy i Edwin Schlossbergdied on December 30, 2025, after battling cancer.
“Our beautiful Tatiana died this morning,” in a statement shared by the JFK Library Foundation to read “He will always be in our hearts.”
The statement was signed by Tatiana’s husband, Jordi Morani his two childrenEdwin and Josephine. The parents of the deceased journalist, as well as her brothers, Jack i Rose Schlossbergwere also mentioned, as Rose’s spouse, Rory McAuliffe.

“They have held my hand without stepping while I have suffered, trying not to show their pain and sadness to protect me from this,” Tatiana. he recalled the support of his family in a New Yorker essay “This has been a great gift, even though I feel her pain every day… Now I’ve added a new tragedy to (my mother’s) life, to our family’s life, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.”
According to Tatiana, her rare form of cancer could not be “cured with standard treatment”. Instead, she underwent chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.

Mary Shriver
Maria Shriver, the daughter of JFK’s sister Eunice Kennedy, shared a lengthy statement through social media after the death of his cousin.
“Can’t make sense of it. Can’t find any sense. None. Zero,” Shriver wrote on Instagram. “Tatiana was a great journalist and used her words to educate others about the earth and how to save it. She created a beautiful life with her extraordinary husband George and children Eddie and Josie. She fought like a warrior. She was brave, strong (and) brave.”
He continued: “My heart has always been with my cousin Caroline since we were little. My whole being is with her now. What a rock she has been. What a source of love she has been to Ed, Rose, Rory, Jack, George, Eddie, Josie and all of Tatiana’s cousins and friends and the amazing doctors who have worked so hard.”
Shriver further promised that “those of us left behind will make sure” Tatiana’s children always know “what a beautiful and brave spirit their mother was and always will be.”

Shriver’s oldest son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, shared his mother’s emotional tribute on his Instagram Stories along with a red heart emoji.

Kerry Kennedy, one of JFK’s brother’s daughters Robert F. Kennedyshared his own tribute via social media, posting a photo of Tatiana on his stories without a caption.
Jack Schlossberg
Tatiana’s younger brother Jack Schlossberg shared an emotional tribute to his late sister on January 5, the same day the Kennedy family gathered for Tatiana’s funeral. In his Instagram post, Jack shared a photo of himself and Tatiana alongside a series of quotes from various inspirational figures, including his grandfather, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, Buddha, Robert Frost and more Jack also included a quote from his sister’s 2019 book, Discreet consumption.
“It’s up to us to create a country that takes seriously its obligations to the planet, to each other, and to the people who will be born into a world that looks different than ours has for the last 10,000 years or so,” Tatiana wrote. “Essentially, what I’m describing is hard work with possibly limited success for the rest of your life. But at least we know we’re going to have it, and at least we know we’re going to do better.”
