The CEO of Manchester United Omar Berrada remains convinced that the club can mark its 150. anniversary and men’s and women’s leagues and believes that there are similarities between the main coach of Ruben Amorim and MAN City Gars Pep Gardila.
Berrada, who first told the staff of his “project of 150” in September last year, is a significant challenge with United, who just endured the worst season from falling in 1973-74, while Chelsea still dominates the Women’s Super League.
However, he believes that she marks the main turning point in the history of the club because it was founded as Newton Heath 1878. Year with a double title, success is realistic.
In an interview with United Me Stand Fanzine will be published on Wednesday, Berrad said, “A series of goals in the time frame is established, so we can direct our efforts and energy on that goal.
“Does the team be able to win the Prime Minister of League until 2028. years? Of course.
“We just finished 15. And it seems impossible to assignment. But why don’t you aim for? Why don’t you all in our power?”
While United was finished third in VSL, 16 points behind Chelsea, which also beat them in the FA Cup, only three places above the Premier League zone and lost the Europa League final in Tottenham.
“We have two or three summer windows to make a PL winning team”
However, Berrada doubled on the schedule.
He said, “I firmly believe we can do it.
“We have two or three summer windows to make a team to start competing for the prime minister’s league.
“No one says we don’t want to win it until then. We set the goal with a specific time frame to go and target.”
Berrada also confirmed the commitment of the Utd Many to the women’s football.
“We were a little distracted with all the problems around the first team of men, but we are dedicated to us to make a woman very successful,” Berrada said.
“You heard (the minority owner) Jim (Ratcliffe) say” If you’re wearing a united T-shirt, just that is exactly how I feel. The club of our scale has a responsibility to grow and contribute to women’s football. “
Berrada at Amorim: ‘It was hard at Pep’s first year’
Amorim had a difficult start to life at Old Trafford, because he arrived from sports in November.
And Berrada, who joined United since he left his main officer in the football group, believes that there are similarities between Amorim and MAN City Boss Guardiola, who had his fights in his first season at Etihad.
“Very much,” Berrada asked when asked if he saw similarities between Amori and Guardiola.
“It was hard in the first year of PEP.”
He added, “He had nothing and there was nothing to conduct his football vision in the premiere league. But he would not change his principles and given that he paused a huge amount of loans in the bank.
“He is allowed to be the first year below his standards. The club supported him that summer, the team began victory and created this winning cycle that lasted until this season.”
‘We’re on the right track’
Berrada believes that the difficulty had to deal with, he would benefit from the main coach and the club next season.
“It won’t be easy,” he said. “There will be some difficult moments ahead.
“Nothing will solve with one summer window, but we are on the right track.
“We put the worst part of this phase of transformation behind us and we will now start construction. I am very sure we will return to the top.
