The French President Emmanuel Macron says that a truce between Ukraine and Russia can be agreed in the coming weeks.

He talked to Fox News in Washington following talks with Donald Trump in the White House on the third anniversary of Russian invasion.

The US president, suggesting war can end “for the weeks”, it is insisted on the Europeans should take the cost and burden of any peace deal for Ukraine.

Macron said any Ukrainian peace agreement needed “not a Ukrainian surrender” and should be sponsored by security guarantees.

We are sides of Russia in UN

Also on Monday, US is still in Russia in UN votes associated with the war in Ukraine.

The two countries first disobeyed a European-drafting resolution that condemned Moscow actions, which were later passed by the UN General Assembly (first) in New York.

Members of the unga support Europe’s resolution in 93 votes but we have not avoided but actually voted against it, with Russia, Sudan, Belarus, Hungary.

The US and Russia rode a US-drawn resolution to the UN Security Council calling the conclusion of conflict but without criticism in Russia.

Security Council resolution is passed but two important allies in the US, the UK and France, nailed by the vote after their attempts changed the words revised.

Meanwhile, EU and UK passed a fresh round of Russian sanctions on Monday. The Penalties of the EU, the 16th rounds have passed since Russia’s advance, aluminum export target, and the “shadow fleet” of ships saying bypass.
