If it can be returned to Blackpool, the grabbing will join another small but exclusive club, next to Phil Taylor, Rod Harrington, and Michael Van Gerwen, as the only players who successfully defended their titles on the seashore.
Humphries now knows how to defend great titles, which return to the championship finals and it considers that it is the best way to make this goal is to be as little pressure as possible, but be sure to be on your way.
“I’m amazing excited. I have a lovely memories of Blackpool and the world match,” said the bushy.
“Two years ago, in my career, he was a deviation of the semifinals in my career and only brief against Jonna Clayton in the final, and of course he achieved that dream last year to achieve it dreams of winning it.
“For me, it was a special, special moment. Of course, I was already a world champion, but winning the world game was my dream and to achieve this against one of the biggest players who have ever been a special moment for me.
“I think one thing you have to do is not start thinking about your defense champion.
“I need to get into good performance to prove that I am not just easy to lose and gave my name.
“You have to relax. I had a couple going when I tried to defend the Grand Prix, who would be my first major tournament that I won, but I almost did it, but I did a little too much pressure on myself.
“Then Grand Slam also went and I knew I had two more tournaments to try and defend.
“I’ve always wanted to defend the main crown and I did it on the player’s final championship, so I know how to do it.
“You have to just put so much pressure on yourself and just allow yourself to enter the tournament, take it at best and if that chance is to beat you, then go and catch it.”

“In Blackpool on the winter gardens, it can be incredibly hot and in the summer is at its peak, and it’s like a glass ceiling, so if it gets warm, creates an incredibly hot and sticky atmosphere.
“It’s really hard to be able to throw your natural match and I think it’s one of many reasons, and then at the top, long format.
“If you first play in that heat, it’s hard, it’s hard. This is why it’s just one of the personal point of view, it’s one of the biggest competitions, I think it’s long format and warmth.
“It’s one of the reasons why I would say it was one of the most difficult to win the calendar.”
