“Remember it’s so weird to message someone you don’t know to comment on their weight or physical appearance,” Anna, 28, wrote via her Instagram stories on Saturday, October 25. “Please, for God’s sake, touch the grass!”
She continued: “Also, yes, I’ve lost about 40 pounds since filming. It’s not that deep, and again, you’re weird (for bringing it up).”
The hairdresser previously condemned fans’ comments about her body following the Season 9 premiere love is blind earlier this fall.
“Hey friends, remember I’m human,” she she wrote via her Instagram story on October 2. “A human who has dedicated her life to a craft to make other women feel beautiful. I’ve struggled with my weight since I was little. For the first time in my life, I’m proud of how healthy I am. I’m not a character. I’m a real human being like you. Be kind. I love you all the same.”
Anna appeared in Season 9 on Netflix love is blind where he made connections Patrick Suzuki i Blake Anderson in the pods Anna, however, withdrew from the show halfway through the experiment once she realized that her person was not on the other side of the pod wall.
“I started to feel quite vulnerable and it scared me a bit because this is an intimate part of my brain. These are very sensitive subjects for me,” Anna told Tudum earlier this month about her decision to leave the reality TV dating experiment early. “It’s not like I’m just sharing it with who I’m dating or the other women; that’s going to be broadcast for people.”
According to Anna, she does not regret leaving.
“I don’t think I have any regrets because I don’t think the connections were strong enough to have a successful marriage from there,” she added to Tudum, noting that she applied to the program without any expectations of commitment. “I went in there thinking anything could happen. I’d be fine if I didn’t find someone because it’s such a wild thing, and it’s so far from how any of us have dated before.”
While Anna made peace with her choice, she was saddened that her decision hurt Patrick, 31, after ghosting him on a date in the pods.
“I tried it, (and) it didn’t work for me in the end and that’s okay,” Anna said via her Instagram stories earlier this month. “The the only thing that mattered to me I was hurting Patrick with how I left the show, and I deeply regretted it. Since then, he and I have built a friendship that means a lot to me, and that’s all that matters. Although I am grateful for this experience, it was shot almost two years ago. When I left, I wanted this chapter to end.”
After Anna’s hasty exit, Patrick pursued another contestant Kacie McIntosh and engaged at the end of the 10-day pod experiment. Kacie, 34, ultimately broke their engagement several hours after meeting Patrick in person due to lack of physical attraction.
