Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is responding Johnny Bananas‘ he says about the nature of their relationship.
“Dear @JohnnyBananas, in case you’ve never talked to the birds and the bees, you have to have sex to get pregnant, and last I checked, we never connected,” Hubbard, 39, shared via his Instagram story on Tuesday, December 2.
Bananas, 43, responded to Hubbard’s post by writing: “Dear @Lindshubbs, banana babies don’t come out cute, they come out legendary… yours is safe.”
So what made Hubbard active in the first place? His post appears to be a response to Bananas’ recent podcast appearance.
While chatting with Dax Holt i Adam Glyn on the November 26 episode of “Hollywood Raw,” Bananas was asked where things stand with Hubbard after they were photographed together in November 2023.
“We were paparazzied somewhere, like, in the West Village, but the timeline scared me, when a few months later I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnant,'” Bananas recalled. “I was like, ‘Damn. I wish I had gotten one of those condoms from the sound guy.'”

Hubbad was photographed outside a West Village restaurant in New York with bananas on what would have been her wedding weekend Summer House to cost Carl Radke. (He abruptly called off the engagement in August 2023.)
In July 2024, Hubbard announced she was pregnant and expecting their first child with Turner skated. Although the couple are not together, they have found a way to co-parent their daughter.
“Turner and I are the best team. We make a wonderful co-parent,” Hubbard said Us Weekly in June “He comes every morning (and) every evening after work, if Gemma isn’t staying at her apartment that night.”
Long before Hubbard became a mother, she will soon star in one Summer House spin-off provisionally titled In the City – Bananas said he knew the Bravo reality star from his role as a publicist.
“I knew Lindsay before she made TV happen. I knew Lindsay when she was still doing (RP),” he explained in his recent appearance on the podcast. “I worked with her (for) years, years, I mean, that was eons ago. Then we lost touch, went our own way.”
When Bananas discovered that Hubbard was launching Summer House in 2017, he wasn’t surprised.

“I was super happy for her. She always has a great time,” he shared. “I wasn’t surprised that it found its way into reality TV.”
As excitement builds for Summer House Season 10, Hubbard previously told us that she may be bringing a different vibe to the Hamptons now that she’s a mom.
“Gemma will be 6-9 months this summer, and she’s the perfect age to spend my first summer with her.” she said we in June “Obviously, I’ll be taking her to the Hamptons a lot.”
