Syrian security forces began deploying to a neighborhood in the northern city of Aleppo on Saturday after days of intense clashes with Kurdish fighters in which dozens were killed and wounded. Despite the army’s claims to have taken control of Sheikh Maqsood, “limited clashes” are still ongoing, FRANCE 24’s Dana Alboz said, citing local sources.
