
Leonardo DiCaprio may not have collected an award at the Golden Globes 2026but still it set the internet on fire!
The One battle after another star, 51, appeared to engage in a spirited exchange, possibly about K-popwith someone in the middle of a commercial break during the Globes, which aired Sunday, January 11 on CBS and Paramount+.
DiCaprio appeared to point at someone off-camera before making several playful expressions with his hands and face, laughing and smiling throughout the exchange. It’s still unclear who the Oscar winner was talking to, but he appeared to be in high spirits as he later signed an autograph for a fan, per footage shared at the Globes. TikTok account

On Sunday night, DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in Paul Thomas Anderson‘s One battle after another. However, the award was for Martí Suprem star Timothée Chalametwhich also fended off the competition George Clooney (Jay Kelly), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Lee Byung Hun (No other option) and Jthis Plemons (bugonia).
While walking home empty-handed, he Titanic star was a good sport like host Nikki Glaser he joked about his love life. DiCaprio is currently dating a model Victoria Ceretti27.

“Leonardo DiCaprio is here for One Man Bun After Another,” Glaser said. “How good Leo was One battle after another? It’s crazy, so good. What a career you’ve had, countless iconic performances, you’ve worked with a great director, you’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar, the most important thing is that you were able to do it before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it’s crazy.”
Glaser apologized and told DiCaprio, “Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke, it’s cheap. I tried not to, but like we don’t know anything else about you.”
“There’s nothing else like opening up. I looked it up (and) the most detailed interview you’ve ever done was in Teen Beat magazine in 1991. Is your favorite food still ‘pasta and more pasta?’ Look, this is real,” he continued.
DiCaprio also found himself in the comic spotlight Chelsea Handleropening monologue during the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in early January.

“It was nice to be able to watch the Critics Choice Awards and see if he’s in the mood to laugh at himself.” Glaser said during a Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance on Tuesday, January 6. “And he did. He seems to have a good sense of humor about himself.”
Glaser added, “I come in peace, and I’m glad I really loved his performance in One Battle (After Another) and I can really put it right before I go for the kill.”
