The annual AFI Awards served as a rare gathering for Leonardo DiCaprio i Gwyneth Paltrow.
DiCaprio, 51, and Paltrow, 53, were spotted together at the awards show on Friday, January 9 in Los Angeles, posing together for a joint photo. DiCaprio sported a classic black suit, while Paltrow opted for a white T-shirt on black backgrounds.
DiCaprio and Paltrow, whose friendship dates back to the 1990s during the early days of their respective Hollywood careers, were last seen together at the 2005 Academy Awards when the One battle after another star was nominated for her performance in The Aviator
Despite a long friendship, DiCaprio and the Goop founder never sparked a romance.

“No, (I) never dated Leo,” Paltrow claimed in a 2023 episode of “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “He tried back in the day, but he was, like, loose with items by the time he was 19.”
DiCaprio’s apparent rejection, however, did not stop their friendship.
“He was a vegetarian and talked about how dirty meat is and how bad factory farming is,” Paltrow previously. he told those in the UK The Observer in 2013. “I haven’t eaten red meat in 20 years, and while Leo isn’t entirely responsible, he definitely planted a seed.”

Gwyneth’s father, director Bruce Paltrowhe was diagnosed with cancer in 1999 and died in 2002. He was 58 years old.
“I got into welfare…actually because my dad was diagnosed with cancer when I was about 25,” Gwyneth. recalled in a social media video shared on February 2024. “That started to catalyze my foray into understanding food, environmental toxins, food as medicine, alternative things like acupuncture. It started a long time ago, I don’t know, in the mid-90s, thanks to my dad.”
Gwyneth is Bruce’s daughter with the actress Blythe Dannerwho has since become a father. The Martí Suprem The star shares daughter Apple and son Moses with ex-husband Chris Martin.
Gwyneth and Martin, 48, were married between 2003 and 2014, when they announced they were “consciously uncoupling”. They’ve remained co-parents ever since, even after Gwyneth moved out and married now-husband. Brad Falchuk in 2018.
