Paramount+ renewed Landman before Season 2 ended in January 2026. The second season became the first three series of all original content in November 2025 and later the first two series. Season 2 also hit ratings records for Paramount+ when it pulled in more than 9.2 million streaming views for its premiere episode in its first two days.

Who would reprise their characters?

Wallace specifically noted how Rebecca’s elevated role at M-Tex Oil will pose obstacles, saying, “This is such a big change for her. She’s always going to question her life and she’s always going to question everything and reevaluate.”

But fans shouldn’t be too worried.

“We also see it grow in this family. M-Tex is in trouble and it’s there in an instant,” he noted. “She sees this juxtaposition where it’s not really a natural thing for her to be part of the team. She’s kind of a lone wolf and one for herself, but she clings to the family a little bit.”
