Amadou and Mariam, a musical duo from Mali, performed together for more than four decades, until Amadou’s death last April. Their ninth and final album together, ‘L’Amour a la Folie’ or ‘Crazi Love’ in English, has just been released. It is a posthumous love letter from Mariam to her late husband, with the help of their son Sam Bagayok. France 24’s Marion Chaval and Yong Chim spoke to Mariam about performing without Amadou.
