Lacey Chabert i Andrew Walker reunite for the first time in seven years for Hallmark’s She is making a list — but is it similar to their last romantic comedy together?
“I don’t think so,” Chabert, 43, said exclusively Us Weekly on Monday, Nov. 3, when asked if his 2025 holiday movie looks like 2018 My Secret Valentine. “I think they’re very different movies.”
The the actress reassured fans this My Secret Valentine – which was about a woman exchanging chalkboard notes with her mysterious host while trying to save the family winery – and She is making a listlike all of his Hallmark movies, “I think they have what audiences tune in to, which is a happy ending.”
Chabert promised that her and Walker’s new film, which opens on Saturday, December 6, will “make you feel alive” and “put some goodness into the world.”

Although the case seems routine, Isabel unexpectedly falls in love with Charlie’s widowed father, Jason (Walker), and soon completely questions the rules of her job.
“This is definitely very funny in parts, but it’s also very poignant at the same time,” Chabert said of the new holiday film, noting that working with Walkeraged 46, it was “a blast”.
The Feast of the Five Alum was full of compliments for his co-star after working together for the second time.
“He’s the nicest human being. We’re really good friends in real life,” Chabert said of Walker. “Our families know each other. So that kind of shorthand that comes with that makes the work so comfortable. It was really fun to spend three weeks with him in Vancouver filming this.”

Allister Foster/Hallmark MediaWhile Chabert called Walker a “great co-star” who can “bring” and “roll with” anything the two throw at the set, he said the film isn’t just about their characters.
“It’s not just a romantic story in the movie. I mean, obviously there’s one, and people love to tune into that, but it’s more than that,” he explained. “It’s the relationship she ends up having with (Jason’s daughter) Charlie, the boy she’s there to watch, and she realizes the common bond and the common ground they both share.”
Chabert shared that Isabel is able to have “great empathy and a much deeper understanding of what’s really going on” in the world, through the Naughty and Nice List, thanks to Charlie.
“Even though it’s very moving, of course, it’s still very funny, because she’s an inspector,” she added of the plot. “I have a bunch of different costumes and ways I try to blend in. Ways I don’t succeed (in) blending in. It’s a lot of fun.”
Although fans have to wait to see it Chabert and Walker are back in actioncan now get their hands on Chabert’s new Hallmark Holiday Collection.
“This is a dream come true for me. Hallmark came up with the idea and I jumped up and down because I love Christmas decorations,” Chabert. he said we of the product linewhich includes festive paper products, a serving tray and holiday cookware.
She said: “I love Christmas decorations, and to have something that allows me to be a part of other people’s celebrations is the best. I’m very proud of the line.”
