“Okay, don’t forget about me this summer,” Kyle told Amanda during the February 3, 2026 episode, which was shot in July 2025, six months before the couple. they announced their separation in January 2026 thereafter four years of marriage.
Amanda didn’t skip a beat in the episode, answering, “Who?” There was a long pause as Kyle looked at Amanda in her car before a big, mischievous grin appeared on his face.
The pair continued to butt heads during the premiere, and the rest of the season, over small things like Kyle saying “model” instead of “models” to bigger issues like Kyle getting into a near-naked Amanda during a pool party moment.

“Will you miss me?” Kyle asked Amanda as he dropped her off Ciara Miller during the Summer House season premiere “No,” Amanda said jokingly.
Kyle backed off and said, “That’s actually healthy,” referring to Amanda driving with the girls and him taking all the boys to the Hamptons.
“Why are you freaking out? You’re acting like I’m going to college,” Amanda said. Kyle then jokingly replied, “I’m so proud of you.”
After Amanda got into the car with Ciara, Kyle rolled down the window and waved at her as he drove away. “He’s so upset that I chose to date different people,” Amanda teased.

As Kyle told the crew that his “friend Ben also models.” Amanda cut him off and corrected him that these are “models”. Kyle paused and then repeated after Amanda, “models,” as the rest of the group fell silent.
There is no wedding band pact
During the first dinner at home, Kyle revealed, “We forgot our hardware,” noting that he and Amanda weren’t wearing their wedding bands.
“Kyle lost his wedding ring and I said, ‘I’m not wearing mine until I have a new one,'” Amanda said in rebuttal.

When the topic of Kyle’s DJ career appeared on Night 1, Amanda claimed she “started” after sharing that she wanted to start her own business. “He got so mad he decided he wanted to be a DJ to annoy me,” she alleged.
“My wife never asks me questions and now she doesn’t actually listen, it’s great,” Kyle told the group.
Amanda then began teasing her husband, saying, “Guys, I’m so jealous it’s all over my body… Did you say jealous?”
Kyle replied, “No, I was just saying you weren’t listening.”

As Kyle prepared for his DJ set at the group’s Fourth of July party during episode 1, Amanda’s frustration over her latest career move was evident.
“This is a test,” Kyle said as he set up his DJ table. Amanda didn’t skip a beat, muttering under her breath, “… Of my patience.”
Elsewhere during the premiere, Amanda told the newbies Bailey Taylor i Levi Sebree that she and Kyle had been married for “four very long years.” Amanda then explained that she was “not 100 percent supportive” of Kyle’s DJing aspirations.

“Every summer, Amanda makes me feel like I don’t exist,” Kyle stated during the season premiere. “She just doesn’t fuck with me.”
The Loverboy founder confided later Carl Radke that it “wasn’t right” between his relationship problems and Amanda.
“Looks like you’re drifting,” Carl said, before asking his friend, “are you happy?”
Kyle confessed, “Where I’m happiest is showing people a good time and pushing the game,” referring to his job. Carl then claimed that this is because “you’re getting attention.”
During the group’s first party, Kyle also told some of his other friends, “I’m scared because we’re so opposite,” when asked about his and Amanda’s current dynamic. “She never tries to make an effort,” he alleged.

At the end of episode 1, Amanda stripped down to her bra and underwear and joined most of her housemates for a swim in the pool. As she began to emerge from the water, Kyle noticed that she was barely clothed: Amanda’s bra was a nude color that added to the illusion that she was wearing no clothes.
“Did you go naked?” Kyle asked, seemingly annoyed by Amanda’s choice. Amanda replied, “No, I’m wearing clothes.”
Kyle called Amanda’s outfit “absurd” as he asked if she was “crazy”.
“It would have been fun if you, like, told me you were getting skinny,” Kyle explained. (Earlier in the episode, Amanda revealed that she met a newbie Ben Waddell while diving in Italy, when Kyle was present. However, the story seems to have caused Kyle to overreact poolside.)
Amanda insisted they were “all in the pool together,” including Kyle. “You were the topless one,” he shouted.
“I’m not topless,” Amanda said. Kyle proceeded to leave for the house, calling the incident “just unbelievable.”
