Aleppo’s governor said the last SDF fighters had left the city after the Syrian army took control of the Kurdish-majority area.

The governor of Syria’s Aleppo says the last fighters of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have left the city after days of fighting.
Government forces have coordinated the withdrawal of SDF soldiers by bus from Aleppo overnight.
This comes after the Syrian army took control of the Kurdish-majority area of Sheikh Maqsood.
