KLM Open: Scot Connor Seeds Lands The first DP World Tour Title As wife surprises it on the final green | Golf News

Connor Scotland Sime won KLM open to request his first title on the World Tour of the DP.

The 29-year-old went to the weekly final circle with two-sided lead to play partners Joakima Lagergren and held the same advantage despite the great closure of an eagle from Swedes.

Sima ended 11. Below, shot a week of 70 and making only one badge in the last 38 holes.

“Incredible, it was so, so hard for the last few days,” Sima said.

“I felt so much better this week, I felt really ready to do it, and I’m so happy I managed to do it.”

His wife, Alanis, flew in Amsterdam to surprise Sima on the final green green, where the Champagne celebrations with Compatagne Even Ferguson and English Richard Mansel enjoyed.

Ferguson had a hole in one earlier in the day to help him finish in a tie in the fourth.

“That’s right, so nice to stuck around,” Sima said. “I was obviously really happy about them and I’m really happy to join them and won myself, so only amazing. Incredibly.”

Lagegren finished nine below, with South African Jaiden Schaper to third in four below. Ferguson, colleague Scot Richie Ramsai and English Jack Senior were further instructed to share a quarter.
