The Kardashians The star smiled softly and said she didn’t “know” who restored the dress.
Taylor kept pressing. “So when you tried it on, what did the dress look like?”

“Let’s go ahead,” he added, as Taylor laughed in the background.
The Skims founder then asked the test administrator if she was “being honest.”
“All true,” replied the administrator. Taylor then clapped, but Kardashian’s eyes widened.
Taylor asked Kardashian why she seemed “surprised” to learn that the test reported she was telling the truth. She slyly replied that “no” she was shocked.
At the end of the test, Kardashian was asked if she lied “at any point during (the interview) and (she didn’t get caught).”
She replied, “Maybe.”
The test administrator then confirmed that the machine was “picking up some cheating.”
When Kardashian donned Monroe’s dress, which the late actress originally debuted in 1962 while infamously singing “Happy Birthday” in President John F. Kennedy — wore the back of the dress unzipped to fit her curves.

This is like walking into the Louvre and throwing paint thinner straight at the Mona Lisa. Fashion preservation is so important. This was the destruction of an irreplaceable historical artifact, all to walk a red carpet. I’m going to be sick.”
Following the comment, Ripley’s VP of Publishing and Licensing, Amanda Joiner, issued a statement in June 2022, claiming that the Hulustar did not cause any damage to the suit.
“From the bottom of the Met stairs, where Kim put on the dress, to the top where she returned, the dress was in the same condition it started in,” the statement said.
Inside the gala, Kardashian changed into a replica dress.
