“We definitely wanted to make sure we gave him a real story and made it interesting and believable,” Grimes shared in June 2025 with People about Marshals. “If it was like, ‘Well, he’s happy,’ are we just going to see him being happy? That’s not great. But I will say this, the idea that they came up with is really, really good and really interesting and I really liked it and I think the audience will like it.”
He continued: “There will be familiar faces. There will also be a lot of new faces, so we’ll see how that all feels. Coming back in a new set of circumstances will be (kind of) a transition.”
