Katie Taylor defeated Amand Serrano by a one-time decision to defend an indisputably super light championship and filling clean three victories in his trilogy.
After a 10-round of the VBO, VBC, IBF and VBA 140LB titles on Madison Square Garden, Taylor was declared 97-93 on two committees of judges, while the third had even at 95-95.
It was the third close competition between the two, after Taylor won the division of the decision in his first side and close unanimous victory in another.

Serrano, 47-4-1 (31), was never harmed by Taylor on this occasion, it is expected to be the last pair of money.

The decision was divided. One judge assigned a 96-93 to Marshal, but the American Green was awarded 95-94 and 96-93 by other judges despite the deduction of the retention point.

The 27-year-old Catford added a VBC title to its IBF and VBO crowns with a decision winning 100-90, 98-82 and 98-82.
