In his new Facebook message, Platt credited Kansas to keep his spirit high with their support messages for a very difficult time.

When Platt began his journey to recovery, he promised his social media followers to commit to “returning to what (he does) better.”

Platt had previously encouraged Kansas’ fans not to worry about their condition, as their doctors detected thyroid cancer soon.
