Justin Bieber stunned everyone with her barely there look while performing at the 2026 Grammys.
Grammy Executive Producer Ben Winston opened up about Bieber’s performance at the awards show during an episode on Monday, February 2 Rolling Stone“Music Now” Podcast. “I don’t think he decided what the outfit was going to be until he got on stage,” Winston said of Bieber’s look, which included nothing but his boxers and socks
When Bieber, 31, rehearsed for the show, Winston explained that the singer wasn’t saying, “This is what I’m going to do.”
“When we reached out to him about his creativity, he said I’m just going to get on stage and sing,” Winston explained, noting that Bieber barely used his allotted time to rehearse.
“It was great. We’re seven minutes into the hour-and-a-half rehearsal. And he said, ‘How did you feel?’ are you happy ” Winston recalled. “And I said, ‘Oh, my God. It looked beautiful. I loved it’. And he said, “Okay, great. See you on Sunday!”
Winston also shared that he asked Bieber to go over his performance a second time so the camera operators knew where to set up.
“It was what I wanted to do,” Winston explained, noting that many performers opt for singers and dancers. “It was all him. It was a career-defining moment for him. It was very different from what we’ve seen over the years.”
At the Grammys, which took place on Sunday, February 1, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Bieber took the stage solo and sang his hit “Yukon” from his album Swag. After Bieber left the stage, host Trevor Noah called his performance “captivating.”
This year, he was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Daisies” and Best R&B Performance for “Yukon.” Although he didn’t take home a trophy this year, Bieber already has two Grammys, winning in 2016 for Best Electronic/Dance Recording for “Where Are Ü Now” with Jack Ü and in 2021 for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “10,000 Hours” with Dan + Shay.
While he went almost naked for his performance, the singer she looked elegant in an all black outfit while taking his picture with his wife Hailey Bieber. He wore a black shirt under an oversized double-breasted jacket. Justin styled his look with baggy trousers and polished dress shoes.
