Justin Baldoni has submitted an allegation Blake Livelythe request to hide the identities of their famous friends and family, such as taylor swift i Ryan Reynoldsin their ongoing legal battle.
On Baldoni’s Monday, January 12, presentation, obtained by Us Weeklyher lawyers stated that “none of (Lively’s) requests meet (the court’s) high standard for sealing at this stage.” The motion also alleged that Lively, 38, is trying to seal the records to save the public image of her A-list friends, who Baldoni, 41, claimed were “recruited as lawyers on her behalf against the Wayfarer Parties in their attempt to take over the film (End With Us).”
Baldoni’s filing claimed that Lively’s husband, Reynolds, 49, was involved in making End With Usincluding rewriting a scene, making him a potential witness in the case. Meanwhile, Lively claimed in her request to seal the identities of Reynolds and others that the Deadpool star is an “innocent third party” in her legal battle with Baldoni.
Baldoni also claimed that the identities of potential witnesses, including Swift, 36, Hugh Jackman, Emily Blunt i America Ferrerahave already been made public.
Baldoni and his legal team asked that most of Lively’s sealing requests be denied.
TMZ was the first to report the news.
we has reached out to Lively’s reps for comment.
Swift was first named in court proceedings in January 2025, when Baldoni filed a lawsuit against Lively’s initial sexual harassment claim. Your file text messages included referring to a time when he allegedly felt “pressured” by Lively’s friends, whom he referred to as his “dragons,” to approve revisions to a scene Lively wrote.

“The message could not have been clearer,” Baldoni’s lawyer wrote at the time. “Baldoni wasn’t just dealing with Lively. He was also dealing with Lively’s ‘dragons,’ two of the most influential and richest celebrities in the world, who weren’t afraid to give him a hard time.”
Baldoni later claimed in his December 2025 statement that Lively used the “taylor swift playbook” in their ongoing legal battle.
“She had the nuclear bomb,” Baldoni claimed at the time, according to court documents obtained by Us. “If she doesn’t promote the movie, she can reveal that I’m a bad person or that she felt insecure about me and all the things she has about me. Then she’s the victim. It’s Taylor Swift’s playbook. So she can ask for whatever she wants because she knows I know.”
Baldoni continued, “I think when you’re somebody small in the industry like I am, and you’re dealing with a titan like Ms. Lively and some of the most powerful people in the world, who are her best friends, and you’re in the situation that I was in, I think it’s very reasonable, especially at this point, to worry about what’s possible and what’s not spinning right now.”
Baldoni’s lawsuit, which accused Lively of defamation and extortion, was dismissed in June 2025. Meanwhile, Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit, which also accuses Baldoni of retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and lost wages, will go to trial in May 2026.
