Jessie James Decker’s kids show off their abs on New Year’s Eve trip


Jessie James Decker and their children start the new year with a bang.

“2026 here we are baby!! Here’s to a fresh start, a full heart, happy babies and beautiful memories to come,” James Decker, 37, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 1. “My resolution is always health, happiness and time to spend with the people who matter the most!!!”

James Decker, who shares daughter Vivianne, 11, and sons Eric Jr., 9, Forrest, 7, and Denver, 21 months, with her husband. Eric Deckerposted a carousel of pictures from her family vacation in a tropical destination. The first photo showed Vivianne, Eric Jr. and Forest on the beach rocking their swimsuits and showing off their abs. The country singer also included additional shots of the entire family enjoying some time outdoors, as well as her and Decker sharing sweet moments.

Several fans took to the comments section to applaud the kids’ physique.

This is not the first time that James Decker shows his children strong abdominal muscles. In November 2022, James Decker shared a family photo from another beach vacation that included his kids in swimsuits.

While some fans were impressed, James Decker was facing some backlash for the image.

“This doesn’t feel right… I’m sorry I’m not sorry 🤷‍♀️,” one user commented.

James Decker hit out at the troll, replying: “It’s a sad world we live in today when having healthy kids who are super active, exercise (and) build muscle naturally is ‘weird’.”

Another user commented that it was “strange” that a small boy would have such predominant muscles, which also drew a response from James Decker.

“From one mother to another. Please don’t call my children weird looking just because they don’t look how you think they should?” James Decker wrote. “It’s nasty ❤️.”

Following the social media incident, James Decker has remained unapologetic about the whole issue. In an exclusive interview with Us WeeklyJames Decker stood by his decision and shared that he was confused by the uproar.

“I think if anything I was like, ‘This is so wild.’ My kids are athletes, they’re out and about, and genetics play a big part. For example, my brothers (Sydney Rae Bass and John James) had six packs when we were kids and so did Eric and his sister,” she told us in January 2023. “It was just genetics and my kids are extremely active and I’m not going to apologize for that. There are a lot of times I’m not going to talk about things, but they’re my kids and I’m a mama bear.”

James Decker explained that all of his children participate in sports such as his daughter’s gymnastics.

“And for me, it was ridiculous. I’m proud of them and they’re very active and they have their passions with sports and performance and like now, let’s encourage it,” he added.
