Jessi from Mormon Wives addresses the “Trolls” after dying her daughter’s hair


The Secret Lives of Mormon Women star Jesse Ngatikaura has a word, or two, for the online trolls who are judging her for agreeing to dye her 3-year-old daughter’s hair.

“All Jovi wanted for her third birthday was pink hair…what the queen wants, the queen gets!” the 33-year-old reality TV star, he wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 9, alongside a video of the temporary dyeing process, which included a very pink bath.

“Do you like pink?” Jessi asks her daughter as she brushes her hair while looking in the mirror.

“Uh huh,” the boy replies.

“Are you a princess now?” Jessi asks.

“Uh huh,” says her daughter, before striking a funny (read: adorable!) pose for the camera.

Jessi shares daughter Jovi, born January 2023, and son Jagger, born April 2020, with husband Jordan Ngatikaura. Jessi is also the stepmother to daughter Peyton from Jordan’s previous marriage.

Jessi recently made headlines after confirming it affair with Marciano brunette, revealing even more details about the scandal a Us Weekly in November 2025.

“It was surreal (rewatching Season 3),” Jessi exclusively said we before the show’s return on November 12, 2025. “I feel like half the time I could just tell I was struggling. I felt like I was empty when I was watching it. So it was really hard for me, especially because I know the emotion I was feeling in certain scenes. But it was also kind of therapeutic to watch it and see it through a different lens because now it’s been a few months and I’ve healed a little bit more.”

Jessi went on to explain that the affair lasted “about two weeks, so it was quick,” adding that she connected with Marciano after confiding in him about her marriage.

“The dynamic with Jordan that I had in my marriage, I hadn’t really talked about it with anyone,” she explained. we. “My family and friends had been aware because they had seen things, but I tried to say, ‘It’s all right.’

She continued: “Jordan would really put me down. Marciano told me he was cute and fun and funny. I felt there was a connection because he gave me something I was missing. But I wouldn’t say I was in love with him.”

Jessi went on to reveal that she had been discussing the possibility of a divorce with Jordan “for the last four years”, adding that there were times when she “almost came up”. Still, she doesn’t approve of the affair, but does consider it a “blessing in disguise” as it forced both her and Jordan to work on their relationship.

“I shouldn’t have done it. But looking back, I think it was an unconscious cry for help,” he recalled. “‘If I do something so intense and serious, I might not have a choice and a divorce will happen.’ I didn’t do it with that in mind, but looking back, I think I felt like that was the only way out of what I was in when he found out about the affair.”

Despite the difficulties in their relationship, Jessi said we she and Jordan are “back together” and a work in progress.

“We’ve been in therapy since all of this and that’s helped a lot,” she detailed. “There are things I needed to work on, there are things Jordan needed to work on and we’re both actively doing that. We’re both taking steps to get better and better.”
He concluded, “I feel like it’s going to be a journey that takes time. We’re trying to make it work and we’re just taking it day by day to see if we can make these changes happen.”
