Jen Affleck may be spinning through season 34 of Dancing with the starsbut it has not been an easy journey for the newly minted mother of three.
“POV: The postpartum blues are starting to set in,” The Secret Lives of Mormon Women star, 26, shared about the TikTok video on Saturday, October 25, which showed Affleck sitting on a couch, unmotivated to work, as a professional partner Jan Ravnik he convinced her to dance.
Affleck smiled as Ravnik, 30, did so Donna Summer“Last Dance” before she joined in the fun.
“Depression can’t hit a moving target 💃😏💪🏼 @Dancing with the Stars #DWTS @JanRavnik,” he captioned the TikTok.
One fan commented: “The whole internet thinks you’re a dwts postpartum queen and we also think it’s highlighting you SO MUCH. You’re an amazing dancer, mom, and wife! I’m rooting for you.”
Jen’s husband, Zac Affleckhe also left a motivational message. “Team JJ is going to shock the world this week 😱🫶,” he shared. Halloween weekto which she replied: “That’s right 🥰❤”.
Jen has been challenged in this season of DWTS while competing alongside people like her Mormon Wives to cost Whitney Leavittas well as Jordan Chiles, Robert Irwin, Alix Earle i Dylan Efron. Danielle Fishel, Elaine Hendrix i Andy Richter complete the top nine.
The reality star welcomed her third baby, daughter Penelope, in July. She also shares Nora, 3, and Luca, 2, with Zac. She was only eight weeks postpartum when she DWTS the journey began.
“It meant everything to me,” Affleck said Us Weekly of getting rave reviews from the judges in week 3. “Because, I think, just being postpartum, I still struggle with body image and I think all women do, especially after having a baby. So any compliment we get, we’re like, ‘Man, (that) means a lot.'”

Disney/Eric McCandlessJen hasn’t shied away from sharing the struggles of competing on the show while recovering from childbirth and caring for a newborn.
“It’s a lot,” Affleck said on the show about having three children under the age of 3 to look after while dancing. “My body hurts. I’m still recovering from the birth, but I’m having a lot of fun and I’m doing it for my kids so that in the future they can do it too.”
She also joked that she didn’t know if her “pelvic floor is ready, but I’m ready.”
“It’s the most real thing” she said we of the mother’s fault after their Disney Week dance. “And guess what? Whether I was doing Dancing With the Stars or not, the mommy guilt would still be there, and it always will be there. That’s definitely a sign that you’re a good mom because you’re trying your best and you want to be better every day, for them, for yourself, for everyone.”
Ravnik has been as impressed with Jen’s work ethic as have viewers watching at home.
“(My daughter) said one of the girls there … had a baby, like, nine weeks before? Something about bananas, where I was like, ‘Wait, I couldn’t walk. What are you talking about?'” Maya Rudolph he said Kylie Kelce activated his “No Gonna Lie” podcast. earlier this month.
Kylie, 33, who gave birth to her fourth daughter with husband Jason Kelce at the beginning of this year, agreed with the Saturday night live alum. “Is she wearing a diaper?” Kylie wondered about her postpartum underwear, before joking: “I don’t think those prom dresses leave that much room.”
Still processing Jen’s ability to compete post-baby, Kylie added: “Has anyone done a wellness check on her?”
Dancing with the stars airs on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays at 8pm ET.
