An Italian pugsitive accused of shipment in many cocaine cargo from Latin America in Europe arrested in Colombia.
The Colombian National Police chief describes Emanuele Gregorini, also known as “dollarino”, as “head of Italian Latin America”.
He told Gregorini in an apartment at the Seaside City of Cartagena in a multinational operation that included investigators in Italian, British and Colombian.
He has been running since 2023, when the prosecutors accused him of a key number of “Lombardy Mafia System”, Cosa Nostra, and ‘Ndrawan Nostria Groupgor.
Police accused Gregorini with an important role in organizing cocaine shipments from the Cartagena port towns of Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Martha in Europe.
Colombian police chief Carlos Trika said Gregorini’s arrest “was a serious blow” of transcription crime syndicates.
He also described him as a “invisible narco”, which ignores himself.
The surveillance footage published by the Colombian authorities showed him to go to the gym and visited local restaurants in the upscale neighborhood where he hired an apartment, with no fear to be known.
Prosecutors say that his arrest in Colombia focuses on an increased presence of Italian Mafia in Latin America.
