The commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warned Washington on Thursday that the force was “keeping its finger on the trigger” after mass protests, even as US President Donald Trump said Tehran was open to talks. Trump held out the possibility of further military action after last month’s US-backed Israeli strikes.
