Breeding Bates alum Katie Bates and the husband Travis Clark have shared images of their relationship with fans over the years.
The couple, who married in 2021, became parents when they welcomed daughter Hailey in 2023. The following year, Bates and Clark added son Harvey to their family.
In 2026, Katie, one of the Gil i Kelly Jo Bates‘ 19 children – she shared it suffered a pregnancy loss. “I will spend the rest of my life missing you,” she wrote via Instagram.
Hours later, Clark admitted that he had he cheated on his wife. “It’s hard to write, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife,” he wrote via his Instagram story. “I had an affair and broke her trust repeatedly. There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my only responsibility. I know words don’t begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of hurt I’ve caused in her life, but I’m so sorry.”

2019
Katie Bates and Travis Clark met through mutual friends.
2020
Katie Bates began courting Travis Clark in 2020. “Travis and his family are active in their local church and also travel together to sing, so our families have been able to visit concerts and church events nearby,” Bates exclusively said. 2024
The couple added son Harvey to their family. “Harvey arrived last night, and we are already so in love,” Katie Bates and Travis Clark captioned a joint Instagram post in September 2024. “Right after he gave birth, they had to take him away because his oxygen levels were dropping, which was really scary. I was able to hold Harvey briefly before they put him on six hours to breathe. I have to say, Harvey is a fighter and we are so proud of him!”
Several weeks later, Harvey was discharged from the NICU unit. “We want to thank you for praying for little Harvey,” Bates wrote via her Instagram story in October 2024. “Your messages of love and encouragement have meant the world to us! Thankfully, he was able to get off the oxygen and is now breathing on his own, which is a huge answer to prayer!”
2026
Katie Bates shared via Instagram that she had suffered a miscarriage. Hours later, Travis Clark admitted he cheated on his wife and apologized via Instagram “for the pain, humiliation and betrayal I caused my wife through my choices.”
“I understand that an apology doesn’t fix what I broke and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for,” she wrote, sharing that she planned to take responsibility for her actions by “getting help.”
“(I’m) doing the work to change and become a more honest and responsible man, regardless of (the) outcome,” Clark concluded. “I ask for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes this in her own time.”
