Brielle Bird “Brie”. has died at the age of 9 after battling stage 4 cancer.

“You are the miracle!” Kendra wrote alongside a photo of her smiling daughter. “Your purpose on earth was fulfilled and it was the most sacred privilege to bring you home. You brought people to Christ, you showed the world that God is good, and your light illuminated every corner of the earth. We love you for eternity!”
She continued, “We will look for you in every detail, especially the dragonfly. We will never stop sharing your story. Please come visit us often. Your bedroom door is always open and we will leave the playroom light on.”

Shortly after Kendra posted the announcement, followers of her and Brie’s @briestrongerthancancer account expressed their condolences in the comments section.

In October, Kendra uploaded a family photo on Instagram, reflecting, “We have a lot of beautiful moments in our house, and this one stood out to me. When I sat by Brielle’s bed one morning, she turned and said, ‘Someone is talking to me from heaven, an old person, I don’t know if it was grandma or grandpa; they told me my name.” Of course I put on my brave face and asked him what else the angels were telling him. He couldn’t keep his eyes open for long, but he assured me he would let me know what else they were saying.
