After playing Cal Fire firefighter-turned-paramedic Gabriela d’Arcila was canceled in season 4.

“I never had a clue. But at the same time, I know that’s the nature of the industry I’m in, and I’ve embraced the flow of release and acceptance throughout my journey and knowing that when one door closes, another always opens,” Arcila exclusively said. But we really follow that line of honoring Vince while also finding hope pretty quickly,” he noted. “Looking forward, the theme of the season is rising from the ashes and recovery.”

Napolitano continued, “How do you recover from something like this? And we’re really going to see everyone rise to the occasion, in celebration of Vince, of his life and in honor of the sacrifice that he made.”
