TikTok star Lexi Rivera is channeling a “tropical island vibe” with her Cupshe pairing, and she’s feeling better while doing it.
“I think the swimsuits and the cover-ups speak for themselves, honestly,” Rivera, 24, said exclusively. Us Weekly before the release on Thursday, January 8. “Those are the ones that make me feel the most confident. Just like, if I’m wearing a nice dress, I’m like, ‘Okay, I feel good.’ So I think this collection just makes you feel confident.”
The Cupshe x Lexi Rivera collaboration—which was shot on Kaʻaʻawa Beach in Hawaii— presents new swimwearbeach cover-ups and holiday dresses, giving a coastal vibe with a youthful outlook.
“One thing about me is that I love bathing suits,” Rivera exclusively said we. “I also live in California, so it’s kind of hot here year-round, so I wear swimsuits all the time. And Cupshe as a brand, I love it. So it’s great to partner with them.”
As for Rivera’s favorite piece from the “Island Time” collection, the influencer said the leopard print swimsuit is “so cute.” From Rivera’s perspective, her Cupshe collection is very versatile.
“The great thing about dresses is that you can dress them up or dress them down. You can wear them as a cover-up if you want, but you can also wear them out to dinner at night and with heels or something,” she explained. “You can wear them in different ways, which is nice.”

When she’s not posing in a swimsuit, Lexi can be found posting online and following in the footsteps of the creator and big brother Brent Rivera
“It’s the reason I’m doing this. I never would have even considered being an influencer if I hadn’t done it first,” Lexi reflected on Brent, 27. “He’s the hardest working person I’ve ever met. So whenever I feel like, ‘Oh, I’m tired today,’ I look at him and he’s the last one, and he’s still 15 years old. He gets my act together.’ So it’s definitely just an inspiration.”
Lexi built her own following, amassing more than 8 million and 29.5 million followers so far on Instagram and TikTok respectively.
“I would like to say that I feel very relatable,” Lexi exclusively said we. “I also love clothes. I’m a very girly girl. So I think I resonate with all girly girls who like clothes and shoes and style and fashion and stuff like that.”
While launching her Internet career, Lexi has also made a conscious effort to balance her online persona with her private life.
“I think it’s important to log off, no pun intended,” he said. “At the end of the work day, knowing when it’s time to do it and when it’s time to stop thinking about certain things and spend time with my family or my friends. And the next day do it again.”
