It would seem strange to talk about the hope of these dark times. In Palestine, the fear of genocide violence is identified as the ill of Western forces. In Sudan, anger has increased in the war. The people of Darfur once again faced a large number of war crimes. While in the United States, the Blitzcreg Advanced of the brilligic underlined has surprised many and left the demolition in its space.
Yet, hope that there is there. Because, on the icy grounds of political repression and reactions, the green shoots of the potential are carrying out the potential, different types of movements have shown their way for progress before making people profitable.
Zoharan Mamdani’s victory is the latest example in the Democratic Party’s primary election for the New York mayor’s race. Mamdani was successful because he focused on the financial difficulties of the poor and middle class and promised free, basic basic things like public transport and children’s maintenance. Importantly, they proposed to pay taxes to all of them by increasing tax on corporation and the rich.
In the United Kingdom, after several years in the desert, various progressive people are being fulfilled behind Zack Polansky’s bid to lead the green party. After announcing the aim of fighting the leadership of the leadership, the party member increased the percent percentage in the first month, as people taxed the corporate power, taxed the rich and ensured that state 1, now and in the future of our weather-hearted work.
To the south of the global, there are similar trend evidence. In India, in the last election, the Congress party finally recruited the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bhagwan’s God by promising unconditional income to every poor family, including a general, cashless health insurance. This was one of the largest basic income tests in the world in Hyderabad, the extremely exciting results given to the Congress thinking, had to finance through more redistribution tax.
Similarly, in South Africa, the heirs of the country’s apartheid struggle have created a nationwide movement to demand an emergency assistance grant from all over the country (or continent) in a permanent basic income created to ensure financial security for all. Is (and financing).
What do all these different developments do?
To make sense of them, first you need to remind yourself that they only get the two basic questions of all politics and what they decide. In our current global capitalist system, (very) wealthy decisions make and distribute most of the wealth that existed in themselves. In turn, like the rulers of the entire age, they condemn notes against those who have little, they dominate them through divisions and rules.
In the middle of this strategy, a foundation false, which repeats the corporate orcorto for incorrect information. Lying: It’s not enough to go around, because we live in the world of scarcity. Due to this terrible prediction, the violent division of the world was in “ourselves and” they “, the line between one and the other determines who will not enter into a gentle life. From there, this is a small step of the imagination of the discipline of “qualifications”, which otherwise adds to the unhealthy exclusion to prove moral justification.
Contemporary rise to the right of this basic stress. When people struggle to the fish to end, they demand more, and when they do, they are doubled on the story of the purse and the story is doubled on the story of the scarcity world, “less character”, people have nothing.
In this historic tragedy, even the right plays a treacherous role, which protects the rich and powerful people from dissatisfaction by dividing them. In the center the left-walker plays the role of a blasphemous foolish-rich fool, the acceptance of the founder of the deficiency unquestionably and thus trying to try to try impossible: without healing the symptoms of inequality.
When you stop thinking about it, the option of this destiny-loop politics is clear and it separates every exciting examples mentioned above. The first step is that most of us are clear, confident that the intuition is true – the abundant wealth in our world exists. Indeed, the number explains that there is much enough to go around. Of course, the point is that the wealth has been distributed in a small amount, the top 1 percent of people control more than 95 per cent of the remaining humanity, many companies are richer than countries, and they write hypera-elite rules and rugs political sports.
Second, the most important, step is to put the question of distribution back in the middle of politics. If ordinary people struggle to end even though there are abundant wealth, then most of them are not enough, but most are not enough.
It is clearly seen that the progressives of the US, the UK, India and South Africa are happening. And this should not be surprised – data again shows that equality is popular, voters like fairness and forcibly supporting the limit of extreme wealth.
The third step is to frame progressive demands as policies that meet the basic needs of the people. What does free children do, health care and transportation? In a nutshell, each of these straightforward measures will benefit the poor, the most working majority, and they will precisely, as they represent the inevitable daily expenses that prevent the power of the common people. By the same token, the basic yield is both attractive because it is easy and because it promises the infrastructure financial safety for the majority of the most not present.
Yet these strategic proposals and the platforms they represent are also combined with all that are unconditional in all important ways. It is difficult to overstate how radical it is: almost every aspect of global social policy is conditional in one sense or another. The provisions of the basic things to all except all, are against the scarcity and its crawan companion, against the idea of qualifying.
What it says is that we all deserve it because we are all human beings and for that reason, we will all use to make sure that we all have the basic things created for the least gentle life.
In this radical message, hope is abundant. Our task is to nurture it and help to grow it.
