Hong Kong is reeling from the deadliest fire in seven decades, with at least 151 dead. The fire broke out last Wednesday at the Wang Fuk Court complex and was not extinguished until Friday. The tragedy also sparked a wave of controversy and misinformation – particularly about the work of firefighters and the role of traditional bamboo scaffolding.
