Harry Styles revealed the next phase of his comeback just hours after it was announced headquarters together, together turns.
The 31-year-old pop star released her new single, “openingon Thursday, January 22, after revealing its release date two days earlier. The five-minute-and-11-second song exudes techno and disco vibes with a strong backbeat and a beat that lasts throughout the song.
“Take no prisoners / They tell me you’re lifting / Drinks go straight to my knees / I’m sold, I’m going clean / I’m going clean,” Styles sings on the first chorus. “I’ve got no more tricks up my sleeve / Game called checking the player / Tokyo time codes and scenes / Bad boys, it’s complicated / It’s complicated.”
When the singer confirmed the download of “Aperture” via Instagram on Thursday evening, he said a video will also arrive at 5pm UK time. Styles announced the news by sharing a photo of himself sipping a “Big Gulp” soda while sitting alone on a bed.
Styles announced earlier Thursday that he will be releasing his together, together world tour in May, starting in Amsterdam with a special guest Robyn. His only dates in the United States will be at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where he will do a 30-night residency.
On January 15, he previously announced that his fourth studio album, Kiss all the time. Discotheque, from time to time.will be released on March 6. The project marks his first LP since 2022 Harry’s housewhich won the prestigious Album of the Year trophy at the Grammy Awards the following year.
A press release confirmed it Kiss all the timewhich will include 12 songs, was executive produced by Kid Harpoonwho also worked on Styles’ previous three albums.
Speculation about new music began late last month when Styles released a surprise YouTube video titled “Forever, Forever.” Footage showed him performing an instrumental piano piece during his finale Love on tour date, which took place in Italy in July 2023. The clip ended with the text “We Belong Together”.
A website claiming “We Belong Together” appeared online earlier this month and directed fans to a sign-up page where they could enter information to receive messages from a contact called “HSHQ.” After checking in, fans received a message that read: “Have a nice day.”
Styles has remained relatively quiet since getting involved Love on tour over two years ago, appearing in several European cities and enjoying low-key dates with rumored girlfriend Zoe Kravitz. His film career also seems to be on hold, with his latest film, my policemanreleased at the end of 2022.

Styles is one of two One Direction alumni with a new album this year. His former band mate Louis Tomlinson will release his third LP, How did I get here?on Friday, January 23, and will embark on a headlining tour beginning in March.
