
February 7 marks a historic day in Haiti’s turbulent past. Four years after the assassination of President Jovenel Moise, Haiti is gripped by violence, with criminal gangs controlling much of the capital and escalating humanitarian concerns. Today also marks the end of the term of the Interim Presidential Council, an unelected body that is trying to fill a governance vacuum. To discuss these ongoing crises, France 24’s Gavin Lee is joined by investigative reporter Ingrid Arnesen, who has covered Haiti for more than two decades.
