Hailey Bieber made an odd comment about son Jack’s life at home with his husband Justin Bieber.
“Balance is a hard word because I don’t know if it’s possible to achieve total balance. If you have, let me know how you got there,” Hailey, 29, said during VogueThe Forces of Fashion event in Australia on Friday 13 February.
The Rhode founder added that Justin, 31, helps her balance being a mother and an entrepreneur.
“Having a great partner is very important and sharing responsibilities,” he continued. “I’m here working, and my son is at home with his dad, living his best life. Having that support is very liberating and makes the decision a little easier.”
Hailey Bieber realized how she’s maintaining work-life balance after becoming a mom for the first time: “I just do what feels comfortable physically, mentally and emotionally,” Bieber, 27, said in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily published on Wednesday (October 16). Hailey and Justin, who married in September 2018, welcomed 18-month-old Jack in August 2024. The couple’s son arrived just over two years after Hailey founded her skincare brand, Rhode. (Hailey sold the brand to Elf Beauty for $1 million in May 2025.)
Hailey told the Vogue event that becoming a mother helped her become a better businesswoman.
“I’m a big believer that our ‘us’ is more powerful than our ‘yes,’ and becoming a mother has refocused me on what’s important to me,” the model said. “Sometimes it’s hard and painful to say no to things, but I also think that saying no ends up serving you better in the end, because then you can show up in other spaces with your best self.”
Hailey previously spoke about her changing priorities after becoming a mother in a November 2025 interview with GQ.
“A typical day at home for me is I get up with my son, I train as much as I can,” he said at the time. “I’ve become a lot more of a man than I was. And I think when you have a kid, that happens, at least for me. It definitely made me have a lot less FOMO. I love spending time with my son. He’s growing up so fast and it’s happened so fast, and it’s becoming more and more real how much you want to spend that time.”

in her GQ Interview, Hailey also opened up about how she and Justin, who have faced (and denied) several reports of marital struggles in recent years. navigating life as parents in the public eye.
“We’re just taking it one day at a time,” he told the network. “We’re both very protective of our son, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change, but our life is our life and it’s really public, so I think we’ll just cross all the bridges we need to when we get there. But right now, I’m very comfortable with how we’re sharing things and not sharing things.”
