The largest hotpot chain of chain Haidilao offers compensate more than 4,000 lunches visiting one of the Shanghai branches, where two teens entered in their hotpot broth.
A video of boys who spent their soup pot while eating a private room widely shared online in the last month. It is unclear which one might have published the incident.
Police say the 17-year-old, drunk in time, detained shortly after the incident.
No suggested someone consumes the affected soup. Haidilao apologized to customers, saying that it replaced all hotpot items and dining equipment, as well as disinfecting with other content and goods.
