Job seekers are lost in a lot of applications AI boost recruitmenttherefore, recruitment platform Greenhouse is trying out a new tool for job seekers that borrow from an unlikely source: dating apps.
Dating platforms like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge offer users a limited number of “super”, “super swipe” or “rose” that they can give potential love interest. These automatically hit the top of the recipient’s feed, making them more likely to see the sender’s profile.
Greenhouse’s functionality works in a similar way—users can designate monthly applications as their “dream job,” Greenhouse says, making it more obvious for the recruiting teams of recruiting companies to apply. The feature also allows candidates to fill in their profile more fully than users who do not use the feature.
“It’s really something we’re trying to make job seekers themselves part of the solution by getting people to put more energy, more intentions,” said Jon Stross, president and co-founder of Greenhouse. wealth. “In exchange, employers can focus on candidates who want the most.”
so far guild. The company said about 7,000 candidates took advantage of it. According to the company, people using the “Dream Work” feature get new roles on average within 20.5 days, while those without 35 to 50 days do not. This feature is free to use.
Only time can tell how Greenhouse’s “dream work” will disappear. But this is a great example of how a very different recruitment landscape forces companies to rethink their business ways. As the job market becomes increasingly difficult to manage, we will likely see other organizations looking for new ways to sift through a large number of resumes.
